Slippers n’ Things Return Exchange Policy
Return Policy: Sales receipts are required for all exchanges. No refunds. Only unworn and unwashed merchandise may be returned for exchange or store credit. The item must be in original packaging. Custom made items cannot be returned. Sales order and layaway deposits are non-refundable, but can be transferred to other items. Custom made items cannot be returned.
We do not accept returned items if the fur has been damaged by the factors described below (water, extreme heat, abrasion, damage by hooking, tearing or otherwise breaking the item, etc.). Our suppliers offer a one year warranty against production or workmanship defects, which will be repaired. The guarantee applies if the products have been properly maintained and have not been subject to abuse, and the warranty does not cover normal wear caused by friction (scuffing of fur or sole), heat damage and water.
Water Repellency: The fur products we carry can repel regular snow, but they are not waterproof. We carry a spray to help them with their ability to repel water, but this does not waterproof them. Water may seep through when exposed to slush or other wet conditions. Products will last longer if they are not worn when the snow is wet or when it is raining. If they get wet, dry them at a room temperature in a well-ventilated area.
Damage to Products: Products can be damaged by abrasion (fur wearing off), soaking in water, fire, by heat, by contact with petroleum products. We do not assume any responsibility for these damages. Use foot warmers with caution, so as to not to deform and/or weaken products – the extreme heat can damage stitching on raw materials. Even though the products we carry are made using the best materials available, we cannot guarantee them against water, abrasion, spoiling, and extreme heat.
Product Storage: When not in use, keep products in a cool, dry place.
